Still discovering the joys of life
This weekend, though incredibly busy, was one of the best weekends of my life.
It was the first time Mindy and I have flown together, and it was to New York City!
We roomed with ficklechick and wickedpissahyall. Renee is an old friend in Internet terms, and it was wonderful to finally meet face to face. Tracey is a newer friend but is now a friend for life. These two women were and are now part of our inner circle, and we have the best and closest inner circle ever!! I can’t wait to see each of them again, and hopefully soon (don’t forget July, y’all!)
It was gratifying to meet all of you this weekend and have my initial impressions of you confirmed. I follow some amazing people who in turn seem to care about my thoughts and words as well. We have a proven compatibility here already, so to see that connection in person just reinforced my opinions of you all!
A special thank you to Meyechael for showing us parts of New York not on the standard tours. Mindy and I are already looking forward to our next visit.
The joys I’m discovering? That there is no end to the number of awesome friends I can meet, nor no end to the adventures Mindy and I will experience together. I have traveled before, but traveling with Mindy gives traveling and exploring a whole new meaning, and meeting our friends fills ever mile with happy anticipation.
