truthaboutash replied to your post: So today is my trial
What the hell?! I had NO idea of any of this. This isn’t bullshit or horseshit. It’s batshit crazy. You’re not responsible. End of story. Sending good vibes your way!
Aw, thank you, Ash! Sure, you don’t think I’m responsible, and I don’t think I’m responsible… but at the end of the day, it is the court that will have the final say. Should be an educational day at the very least.
truthaboutash replied to your photo: Only drove 300 miles for this one. Still… yum!!…
300 miles for an orange julius? Oy vey…
Okay, to be truthful, I was in Nashville to install a new printer for my dad, but I wasn’t about to pass up the delightful deliciousness of an Orange Julius while I was in the area…
So I’m not quite as crazy as I may seem at times, though now that I think about it, I have driven 300 miles before just to have a Whataburger… so never mind…
truthaboutash replied to your post: Back from court
I’m glad everything worked out. I knew it would.
I’m glad you knew it, Ash, because I sure didn’t. The only reason I agreed to pay court costs on the dismissal was because I fully expected to be found guilty. It isn’t about fair or just… it’s about whose name was on the lease and (in the case of this town) who was paying the water bill. I was guilty of both of those, so I was going to be held responsible no matter what. So I took the dismissal deal and then just got plain lucky.
But I certainly like your optimism, so if you don’t mind, can I borrow that at times? :-)
truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash replied to your photo: Only drove…
I dunno. Remember that one time you drove 4 hours to meet that one girl from Tumblr? The one that lived in Chattanooga? Crazy people.
Now that you mention it, I do recall something along those lines. Okay, so I’m crazy… I won’t deny it any longer…
(but I’ll also admit that the girl was cute and nice, so it was worth it.)
truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash…
Cute and nice, huh? More along the lines of crazy and spastic. Who buys movie tickets for a completely different movie theater?! And the rain… The RAIN!
Yes, cute and nice. And funny. And not at all crazy and spastic, unless it falls under that “cute” category.
It was a simple mistake on the tickets that *anyone* could have made, and… well, see “cute” as mentioned earlier.
As for the rain… yeah, it was pretty bad. But we survived it. And I had fun, so I didn’t pay that much attention to the rain.
Tumblr Crushes:
This is a nicely balanced list today. I guess that means I’m finally catching up…
Tumblr Crushes:
I follow the best people in the world, and I have the best followers too! And this crush list *still* isn’t anywhere large enough to truly reflect my crushes!
Tumblr Crushes:
How’d you sneak in there, wentdog? Oh yeah… something to do with your lady, I’m sure. That works for me! (and you two make me so very happy!!)
truthaboutash replied to your post: serieusement replied to your photo: Now *this* is…
I completely agree. ICK to Southern food. You know my stand on Southern anything. Ha!
This is one of the more popular “meat and three” places here in town. I’ve lived here for 27 years now (someone please just kill me), and this is the second time I’ve been to this place. The first time was about 10 years ago. I figure I’m good if I can keep going back that frequently.
And Ashley, I’m with you. Since I’ll be moving out west by the end of the year, I’ll be eating much better food soon (as I munch on a bell pepper snack tonight).
truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash replied to your post: serieusement…
If you’ve been here for 27 years… That would make me… Haha! Just kidding.
Sometimes you are just Lucille Ball hilarious, you know that? :-P
Oh, yeah, Lucille Ball… she was a famous comedienne many decades ago, long before your time… :-D
truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash…
Bahahaha! of COURSE I remember Lucille Ball. I’m not THAT young. Just a little bit young. (that sounded horrible)
Right… not that young… so Lucy died in 1989, which made you, what, around two years old then? Of course you remember her… :-D

BOOM! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You are enjoying this far too much, child…
truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash replied to your post: truthaboutash…
I was 3. That’s a big difference.
You’re right, that is a huge difference! I know you must have all sorts of fond memories of her before she passed away…
Damn… I was 32 then. Never mind, I *am* old!!!! Just pass me my cane and liver pills and prop me up with pillows so I don’t fall over…
Tumblr Crushes:
Again, no offense to the guys, but it is much more appropriate for my list to be nothing but women in my life. :-)
